Corey is a Berks County native who attended college at West Chester University. It was during this time that Corey developed his love of craft beers (or microbrews as they’re called back then) in the parking lots of Grateful Dead concerts. Seeing West Coast and Colorado beers being sold in the lots opened up a new world of beer styles and breweries that weren’t obtainable at that time in Southeastern PA.
Before graduating from WCU, Corey got a part time job as a Brew Coach at a local Brew-on-Premise. This was a life changing job which would lead to taking a job transfer to Kansas City, MO where he helped open another Brew-on-Premise & brewery.
As the beer bubble burst in the late 90’s, Corey was back in Chester County and started home brewing on his small apartment kitchen stove. Fast forward 20 years Corey ditched his corporate job & opened Fancy Camper Home Brew Supply in Malvern as a mode to share his passion for brewing. Maintaining a very casual, laid-back & community based environment at his store, Corey loves to help local home brewers catch the brewing bug & become immersed in the best hobby in the world.
